I guess when Geoff added this option, he didn't think the link would be
needed as one attribute is right after the other in the file.  However,
for the sake of completeness, here's the patch...  We'll have to make
a corresponding fix to the 3.2.0b4 code too, in defaults.cc or defaults.xml.
